What is a Giving Machine?
Instead of candy or snacks, Giving Machines allow you to purchase essential items—such as emergency shelter provisions, baby supplies, winter coats, and warm clothing—for families experiencing housing insecurity in our community. Best of all, 100% of your donation goes directly to Family Promise of Puget Sound, as all credit card and operational costs are underwritten.

How Your Donations Support FPOPS Families
When you select a Family Promise card at the Giving Machine, you are directly purchasing items requested by our shelter and stabilization programs:
- Winter Apparel: Warm coats, beanies, hoodies, and boots for children and adults [10, 11].
- Infant Care Essentials: Bassinets, infant bathtubs, receiving blankets, and care supplies [10, 13, 14].
- Shelter & Hygiene Supplies: Personal hygiene kits, first aid kits, towels, and bed linens [5, 10, 12, 15].
